“Morgan’s perspective and experience really helped me gain my footing on my sales efforts. She is a creative and strategic resource for me as I figure out the right tactics, messaging, and tools for me to scale my business.”
Whether you’re starting a new company or addressing flat sales, figuring out where to start can be daunting. So often, you’re too close to your product and business problems to assess the right approach to your challenge. There are also so many different philosophies out there, each upheld by dozens of industry veterans. How can you figure out what’s right for your business when there’s so much noise?
I’m here to offer you an outside perspective, bolstered by my own success record. Over my time working at startups and in sales, I’ve seen countless different processes and strategies touted by sales leaders as the ~~ only ~~ way to get results. Pound the phones! Target your leads on LinkedIn. Lead with the ROI. On and on and on.
After working for a number of different such veterans, it became clear to me that what these sales leaders were missing was that sales is not one-size-fits-all. They were so busy defending their approaches and validating their experience that they weren’t really listening to our value prop, understanding our customer, or thinking strategically about the market we worked in. Many weren’t even willing to learn the tools we were subscribed to!
There’s no magic solution. No tricks or cheat codes. Just listening, thinking strategically, and being persistent.
